20th Anniversary, DONE!!!

Organisers of this years SunSmart Healthways Gracetown Grommets comp took a risk, chose Saturday 17th September as the best day of the weekend, Huzza’s as the location, and boy did it turn out to be the right decision! Cracking waves, light winds combined with the great view from the South Point carpark, mixed together, gave the perfect recipe for what will be regarded for many a year as the best Gracetown Grommets comp, like…. everrrrrrr!

Kids ripped all day with some amazing performances from the get-go, meaning that every heat was pretty much a final, such was the talent on display.
A huge congratulations to all kids that came and competed. There was a smile on every kids dial regardless of how they went, and a real spiritual feeling amongst all that embodied what this competition is all about, remembering and honouring the 9 lives that were so tragically lost 20 years ago.
